Here’s a simple guide on how you can cook over medium eggs perfectly fried with soft, creamy and a bit runny yolk. Make your day better with this quick and easy recipe.
1tablespoonOil (any kind of your choice) or1/2 tablespoon of butter
2Fresh from the market or farm eggs(avoid using week old eggs)
Instructions
Heat the pan or skillet on low medium fire and once heated, pour the oil or put the 1/2 tablespoon butter to melt. Wait until it starts bubbling, indicating that it’s ready.
Add the eggs gently and add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. You can cook them one by one or fry them together, it’s your call. Then, cook them for 2 to 3 minutes.
Once the whites are set and the yolk is still runny, flip the eggs slowly and cook for another minute.
Notes
Avoid using old eggs as they tend to spread around the pan, making it hard to make the perfect over medium eggs.
Don’t overcook the egg as it might not be as healthy as it is if the nutrients are damaged due to overcooking. Always fry the eggs over low medium fire.
